Rice is Wealth !!
The Ndop rice project started in 1970 with the creation of a rice production mission which was later transformed in 1978 into a development authority-- the Upper Nun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA). This parastatal is charged with transforming the swamps and marshy areas of the Ndop plain into an irrigated Rice Project.
